1981 Redline Series III BMX – Classic Survivor

Description

Original owner, garage and shed kept since bought new.
This bike was once used recreationally and raced back in the early 80’s.  The
bike was once upgraded with Stu Thompson Redline take care of bards, Redline Flight Cranks
and GT Layback seat post.  The whole thing at the bike is original (perhaps the
tires and tubes were replaced once).  Bike sat for 30 years so it does
have natural patina rust on frame (which looks sweet).  In case you are a
Redline freak you’ll hang this bike in your bar or garage as a show piece as
is.  Cleaned and waxed it’s mint.  If you wish to shred old school
you’ll need a new chain (original on there), new tires and tubes and will need
to have the bearings and bottom bracket serviced.  Grease is 36 years
old.  That is an absolute original survivor….sweet ride.

Hate to part with this bike from my youth but
need room for new bike in the stable…
