Colnago EPS Campagnolo Super Record 11 Speed THM Carbone Clavicula Classic

Description

This auction is for a frivolously used 57cm Colnago EPS. The frame and fork (Serial Number X3A161) is a 2007 frameset that I purchased as NOS in September of 2009. The frame used to be sent to Cyclart to be repainted in Saronni Red. I built the bike into its current form in late 2013. I’ve the entire receipts to document my description. The handlebar and stem (110mm) are Deda Superleggera and the seat post is a Deda SuperZero with Parts of Passion upper rail clamps. The seat is a Selle Italia Colnago SLR. The wheels use Chris King R 45 Campagnolo hubs. The front hub is 24 holes laced to an ENVE 25 tubular rim with Pillar Mega Lite spokes in a 2 cross pattern. The rear is a 28 hole hub laced with  Pillar Mega Lite spokes at the NDS in a radial pattern. The DS is laced with Sapim X-Ray spokes in a 3 cross pattern. The tires are Vittoria Corsa Evo CX II. The crank is a THM Carbone Clavicula Classic, 172.5mm with a full ceramic bottom bracket. The chain rings are Praxis 50-34. The brakes are EE Cycleworks with ENVE carbon pads. The shift levers, front and rear derailleurs and cassette (12-25) are all Campagnolo Super Record 11 speed. The quick releases are made by Tiso as are the ceramic bearing pulley wheels.  The head tube logo isn’t a decal. I’ve added a gold plated brass head tube badge with lacquer painted highlights. The pedals are Speedplay Zeros which were upgraded with titanium spindles, bowtie plates and screws. The handlebar covering is constructed from leather (Handlebra) and has the Tre Colore Italian color scheme.  There are a couple of small imperfections in the paint and a couple of scratches as well. I’ve the silver base coat and candy red top coat touch-up paint in small bottles provided by Cyclart that I will be able to include with the bicycle.
