Rangely Lake Guide Canoe measuring 15′ 4″ long, 39″ wide and 13″ deep in center. Has 2 woven rawhide seats and a variety of room in midsection for gear or another person. Weighs 65 lbs. These are fast, easy paddling canoes. Their true worth is enjoyed when the wind starts to blow and the waves are running high as the hull shape is designed to maintain rough water, which is steadily the case on the Rangeley Lakes. Constructed with Eastern White Cedar for the ribs and planking. White spruce for the inwales. Ash for the outwales, thwarts and seat frames. Decks made of cherry. #10 canvas on hull. Brass stem bands. Can also be crated and shipped if necessary. Contact me with your address and I will try to get a quote for you. Local pickup is fine too of course. If you live within driving distance of northern New Hampshire and wish to test drive any such you’ll be able to. This canoe is about 3 year old, but is used mostly for display and had very little use. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. I right now have only one available in the color red. You can also order any other color if you’ll be able to wait for it to be built. I also make these in 13 and 17 foot lengths.
