Among the amazing gifts the Blizzard workforce receive on their 5, 10 or 20 year anniversary, all employees get a once a year holiday gift! Last years gift used to be a statue of a Treasure Goblin from Diablo III, which used to be sculpted by Blizzard?s own Brian Fay. This years Holiday 2013 Gift is a life size replica of a hearthstone in commemoration of the Hearthstone beta launch. Powered by 3 AAA batteries with switch (batteries are included). I opened this item only for inspection, photographing and right away put it back in the box. The light pulses off and on–very bright blue.
These might be extremely hard to get your hands on as Blizzard is now keeping an eye on the serial numbers. Active employees caught selling their statue will have serious consequences.
