Ventum One Triathlon Bike 58cm – Ultegra Di2

Description

This is my 2016 Ventum One triathlon/TT bike. I am a dealer and that is one of my personal bikes. Components are Shimano Ultegra 6870 Di2 11 speed. Includes both aerobar and brake-lever shifters. Wheels are NEW Profile 24 training wheels (24mm wide braking surface). Tires are NEW Continental Grand Sport Race. New 105 28/11 cassette. Crank is NEW FSA Energy 172.5mm. Saddle is Cobb JOF55 barely-used (demo saddle from shop – not my saddle). Bars are alloy Pro Missile base bars and Profile F-40TT clips and pads with Zipp Evo70 alloy extensions. I used this setup because it’s durable, very aero and very adjustable. Stem is Zipp alloy 120mm. Brakes are TRP V brakes front (under faring) and TRP T851 direct mount rear. Some components are negotiable or swapable so ask.

This bike, but even so being extremely aero, has an unbelievable ride quality as a result of the lack of seat-stays. It’s also amazingly stable in cross-winds as a result of lack of down-tube, and tracks in a straight line find it irresistible is on rails yet handles turns with ease. The integrated hydration tank and hose works great and lets you carry 42 oz of fluid, refillable at the fly.  This machine is actually best suited as a long-course, Ironman and 70.3 bike. This bike is about $7500 new.
